Danielle Weiss Medina is an Emmy Award-nominated producer who has produced more than 200 hours of television on subjects including pop culture, politics, music, current events, pro-social topics, lifestyles and more.
A graduate of the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Danielle started her career as an assistant at MTV and worked her way up through the ranks of the News + Docs department to Executive Producer. Throughout her 15-year career with the network, she produced episodes of many of their marquee series, including Sex in the 90’s, True Life, Diary, and Cribs; covered presidential campaigns for Choose or Lose and red carpets for the Video Music Awards, Grammy Awards and MTV Movie Awards; shot and directed movie specials with talent including Johnny Depp, Matt Damon and Cameron Diaz; produced live performances for artists including Kanye West, Rihanna, the Beastie Boys, and David Bowie; and also developed several noteworthy series, including My Super Sweet 16, which had the highest rated series premiere in MTV history when it debuted.
Since leaving MTV to join Mad Fusion, Danielle has continued to produce groundbreaking content for both television and the internet, proving that from casting and concept development to field and post-production, she is an expert in bringing non-fiction programming to the screen.
